Welcome to Power Engineering

The 5th class course focuses on persons working as building operators and persons interested in improving skills and knowledge of commercial and institutional facilities in which they are in charge of steam or hot water boilers, refrigeration equipment, pumps, and heating systems. Water treatment and quality control in boilers and cooling systems are also covered.
This course is intended to prepare students to write the Fifth Class exam

Getting involved with Power Engineering started in 1978 with Dr Peter Prystupa
Dr Prystupa asked Brian Dentry if he would deliver two topics from First Class and one topic from Second Class Power Engineering.
So the Journey in Power Engineering began, and has been a success for 45 years.

New Canadians benifited greatly from the programme offered by the Winnipeg School Division 1
and the St Vital SD (now known as the Louis Riel SD).
